The Globe’s ongoing Power Gap investigation has revealed the significant disparity that remains between men and women in the Canadian workforce. There is a systemic problem, and the issue isn’t only at the top of organizations, but at every level, as women continue to be outnumbered, outranked and out-earned by men. The pandemic has only exacerbated the problem. According to a new study by Deloitte, 48% of women have considered leaving the workforce for good, and 51% feel less optimistic about their careers.
